Acid Opulence 3
The Acid Opulence 3 was exactly the kind of cigar Drew Estate fans tend to love — sweet, aromatic, flavorful, and completely unapologetic about being different from a traditional cigar experience.
From the first light, the cigar exploded with a rich aroma and infused the air around me with sweetness. Notes of sweet tobacco, exotic botanicals, cream, and subtle floral undertones drifted through thick clouds of smoke, creating a profile that was both flavorful and incredibly fragrant. Like many cigars in the Acid line, the Opulence 3 felt almost more like an experience than simply a cigar.
And honestly? It tasted really good.
The smoke itself was smooth, mellow, and layered with sweetness from beginning to end without becoming overly syrupy or artificial. There was a creamy richness to the profile that made the cigar easy to enjoy, while the infused flavors added just enough distinctiveness to keep it interesting throughout.
That said, the burn performance did leave something to be desired.
The cigar struggled to maintain an even burn at times and required occasional attention to keep things corrected. It never became disastrous, but it was noticeable enough to slightly distract from what was otherwise a very enjoyable smoke.
Still, flavor can forgive a lot of sins — and the Acid Opulence 3 definitely delivered on flavor.
At around $7.20 per stick, it sits on the pricier side for an infused cigar, which may make some smokers hesitate. Personally, I found the price a little steep considering the burn issues, but the unique aroma and enjoyable flavor profile still made it a cigar I genuinely enjoyed smoking.
Sweet, aromatic, flavorful, and unmistakably Drew Estate.
