5 Vegas Gold
The 5 Vegas Gold was a very pleasant surprise and easily the best cigar I’ve smoked from the 5 Vegas lineup so far.
From the very first draw, the cigar delivered a wonderfully smooth and creamy smoking experience with a rich, satiny texture that immediately stood out. The smoke itself felt soft and velvety on the palate, giving the cigar a refined character I honestly wasn’t expecting at this price point.
Flavor-wise, the profile leaned toward mellow to medium-bodied, with notes of toasted nuts, soft cedar, cream, and a mild, peppery spice lingering quietly in the background. The pepper never became sharp or overpowering — instead, it simply added a little life and balance to the cigar’s creamy core flavors. There was also a subtle natural sweetness woven throughout the smoke that tied everything together nicely.
Construction was solid as well. The cigar burned evenly, produced a comfortable draw, and generated plenty of smooth, aromatic smoke from start to finish. Everything about the experience felt balanced, relaxing, and easy to enjoy.
What impressed me most was how refined the cigar felt for such an inexpensive stick. Too often, budget-friendly cigars sacrifice smoothness or complexity, but the 5 Vegas Gold managed to deliver both flavor and comfort without pretending to be something it isn’t.
And at only around $3.60 a stick, it is honestly difficult to complain about much of anything here.
Of all the 5 Vegas cigars I’ve tried, this one is unquestionably my favorite so far. Smooth, creamy, flavorful, and affordable — a genuinely enjoyable everyday smoke.
