The 5 Vegas Gold proved that a cigar need not be expensive to deliver a genuinely enjoyable smoking experience.
From the first draw, this cigar offered a rich, satiny texture that immediately stood out. The smoke felt smooth and creamy across the palate, while maintaining enough body and flavor to remain interesting throughout the experience. There was a soft nuttiness woven into the profile along with subtle peppery notes that added just enough spice to keep the cigar balanced without becoming aggressive.
What I appreciated most was how approachable and refined the cigar felt for the price. The creamy character remained consistent from beginning to end, while the mild spice and nutty undertones gave the smoke a warm, comforting quality. Nothing harsh, nothing overwhelming — just an easygoing, flavorful cigar that was genuinely relaxing to smoke.
Construction was solid as well. The burn remained even, the draw remained smooth, and the cigar produced thick clouds of aromatic smoke that enhanced the overall enjoyment.
Of all the cigars I’ve smoked from the 5 Vegas line, this one is easily my favorite. Some of the others felt rough around the edges or lacked complexity, but the Gold managed to strike a very nice balance among flavor, smoothness, and value.
And at only about $3.60 a stick, it is difficult not to appreciate what this cigar delivers for the money.
A creamy, nutty, flavorful everyday smoke that punches well above its price point.
