Don Lugo Corona
The Don Lugo Corona turned out to be a fairly enjoyable everyday smoke that delivered respectable flavor and decent performance at a very affordable price.
From the first draw, the cigar carried a pleasant cedar aroma that remained consistent throughout most of the experience. The cedar notes gave the smoke a warm, woody character while subtle touches of caramel sweetness drifted quietly in and out beneath the surface, adding just enough richness to keep things interesting without becoming overly sweet.
The overall profile leaned toward smoothness and approachability, with a medium-length finish that lingered pleasantly on the palate after each draw. Nothing overly complex or dramatic here — just a straightforward, relaxing cigar that was easy to sit back and enjoy.
Construction overall was decent as well. The cigar burned reasonably well through most of the smoke, though it did begin to wander a bit toward the final third and developed a slightly uneven burn near the end. Fortunately, it never became severe enough to ruin the experience.
At only around $2.08 a stick, it is honestly difficult to complain too much. The Don Lugo Corona offered solid flavor, a pleasant aroma, and enough smoothness to make it an enjoyable, budget-friendly smoke.
Not a cigar that will completely blow you away, but certainly a respectable little smoke for the price.
