Vintage 1990
The Vintage 1990 was exactly the kind of cigar I love discovering — smooth, rich, flavorful, and satisfying enough that I simply did not want it to end.
From the first draw, the cigar delivered a wonderfully balanced, medium-bodied profile packed with rich tobacco flavor, soft earth, cedar, and subtle, creamy undertones that remained smooth and refined throughout the smoke. Everything about the experience felt polished and mature without becoming overly bold or aggressive.
The smoke itself was thick, velvety, and incredibly easy to enjoy. Every draw carried a richness that coated the palate beautifully while still remaining smooth enough to smoke slowly and comfortably. There was a quiet complexity to the cigar as well, with the flavors deepening gradually as the smoke progressed without ever losing balance.
Construction was excellent. The burn stayed even, the draw remained effortless, and the cigar produced dense aromatic smoke from beginning to end. It was one of those cigars that simply behaved exactly the way you hope a premium cigar should.
And perhaps the highest compliment I can give it:
I smoked this one all the way down to the nub.
That always says something. If a cigar becomes harsh, bitter, or boring, I have no problem setting it aside early. The Vintage 1990, however, stayed smooth, flavorful, and enjoyable right to the very end.
At around $7.00, this cigar absolutely felt like it was worth the money.
Rich, balanced, refined, and genuinely satisfying — a cigar I would gladly keep stocked in the humidor.

Hummm. Smoked another one of these this evening. This one had a hard draw, an uneven burn and was not as smooth as I remember. I’m going to check the calibration of my humidor, give it some time and try again.
