Hoyo Excalibur
The Hoyo Excalibur turned out to be one of those cigars that may not overwhelm you with complexity, but absolutely wins you over with pure flavor and smooth enjoyment.
From the very first draw, the cigar delivered a wonderfully creamy milk-coffee flavor that remained remarkably consistent throughout the entire smoke. There was no dramatic evolution or shifting complexity here — and honestly, that was perfectly fine. Sometimes consistency is exactly what you want, especially when the core flavor is this enjoyable.
The coffee notes leaned smooth and creamy rather than dark or bitter, giving the cigar an easygoing, almost comforting character. Subtle hints of toasted wood and mild sweetness lingered quietly in the background, but the dominant impression was a rich café-au-lait-style flavor from beginning to end.
The smoke production was outstanding as well. Every puff produced thick, billowing clouds of dense, aromatic smoke, adding greatly to the overall enjoyment. The draw stayed effortless throughout, making the cigar incredibly relaxing to smoke without requiring any work or attention.
What I appreciated most about the Hoyo Excalibur was its honesty. This cigar does not pretend to be a hyper-complex boutique masterpiece packed with endless transitions and hidden nuances. Instead, it focuses on delivering smooth, flavorful, creamy tobacco in a reliable and satisfying way — and it succeeds beautifully.
Delicious, flavorful, and easy to enjoy.
Sometimes that is more than enough.

I just smoked another one of these. I’m telling you man, this cigar is plum delicious.
