Purios Indias Viejo
The Puros Indios Viejo turned out to be a wonderfully smooth and satisfying smoke — the kind of cigar that quietly earns your appreciation the longer you spend with it.
From the very first draw, the cigar delivered a balanced medium-bodied profile built around a rich, earthy core softened by a subtle touch of sweetness lingering beneath the surface. The sweetness never became overpowering or artificial. Instead, it worked beautifully alongside the earthy tobacco notes, creating a smooth, mature flavor profile that remained enjoyable from beginning to end.
What really impressed me was the consistency. The cigar stayed smooth the entire way through with no harshness, bitterness, or rough edges developing as it progressed. Every draw felt balanced, creamy, and easygoing, making this one of those cigars you can simply relax with and enjoy without overthinking it.
Construction was solid as well. The burn remained steady, the draw stayed comfortable, and the cigar produced thick, flavorful smoke throughout the experience.
What makes the Viejo line especially interesting is the aging. These cigars were reportedly aged for six years before release, and honestly, that extra maturity was noticeable in the smoke’s smoothness and balance. The flavors felt settled, refined, and well-integrated rather than sharp or youthful.
And knowing these are limited only makes them more tempting.
This is definitely one of those cigars that leaves you thinking, “I should probably order more before they disappear.”
Because honestly… I really enjoyed this one.
