It’s been a while since I smoked one of these. A few years in fact. After writing this review, just before posting it I discovered that I reviewed it back in 2012. All I can say is that I’m still pleasantly impresses with this jewel.
This cigar is mellow with just a hint of coffee that is creamy. Nicely wrapped in a dark toothy maduro leaf that burned evenly around the circumference like none other that I’ve ever smoked. The ash remained tightly packed and never wavered.
I’ve read reviews on other cigars where reviewers state how “chewy” a cigar is. I’ve never really understood that term. I now think I do: The smoke is thick and… oily (maybe) resulting in thick flavors in your mouth.
