Medium bodied with an earthy core and a touch of sweetness. Smooth from beginning to end. I enjoyed this one. They were aged six years and are limited. I’ll have to hurry to order more before they are all gone.

This cigar supposedly has deep, rick notes of chocolate and coffee to coat the palate – I did not experience any of that. I did however experience a robust note of toast and spice. Especially the spice. Overall, not a bad experience but for me, not worth $13.00 a stick.

This $1.99 Robusto was smooth, but nothing special. It is supposed to have had lingering notes of dark unsweetened chocolate, toast and espresso bean – I experienced none of that. This was the first cigar I’ve snuffed out before getting half way through it.

Earthy, spicy and loaded with subtle nuances that include coffee and wood. At times the draw of spice is that of pepper – a blast of pepper! Not much in the way of coffee and it burned unevenly. Overall experience? Not worth the money at $9.40 a stick.

Rocky Patel’s The Edge – Toro Maduro cigar was mild, bland and and nothing to write home about. It is supposed too have wood, caramel and cocoa flavors with a finish that is dry and long with a hint of pepper. I experienced none of that for my $5.60.

Mellow mild flavor of vanilla bean. Even burn, smooth smoke, wonderful aroma. This was a great change of pace. On 12/18/10 I smoked another one. It became brittle, the wrapper flaked off and the filler eroded during smoke. Weird. I check my humidor and everything else appears to be okay, temperature is consistent. Again, weird.
